Our new favorite backyard game is called KanJam. Or Can Jam. It’s a blast, easy to setup and doesn’t take a ton of room to play in. You’ve got two “cans” about the size of a large bucket on either end of the game area. They have a hole in top and a cut out in the front. You get points by throwing a Frisbee from one end to the other and trying to get the Frisbee in one of the holes.

It’s an awful lot of fun and pretty cheap to purchase.

If you are going to play baseball or softball, you had better have a VERY big backyard. Much bigger than most houses today have.

Better choices are volleyball, bocce ball or corn hole.

These also can be played well with only a few players — whereas baseball needs at least 5 or 6 per side.

I enjoyed the ideas for fun in the yard, another great way is working in your gazebo garden I guess that only flies if you like to garden though heh. Some kids view it as work.
