A nice simple & easy to follow guide. Now that the spring is on the way I'm getting my garden ready for planting. I've just got to work out a way to stop by cats chewing the plants!

Now that I am deep into winter up in North Dakota, I am ready to start gardening. I have a few of the tools you suggest and have set up a spot nearby to start gardening this spring.

I just sprouted a whole bunch of herb seeds which I plan to transfer to pots once they are big enough.

One suggestion if you want to do the same is by some special soil mixture that is made for the purpose of germinating seeds, cut the bag open long ways and plant the seeds directly in the bag. Very Easy!

Keep soil moist and your seeds will sprout up in no time.
