Fresh flowers are the perfect way to freshen up your home and add a touch of colour to your various rooms. In this day and age of technology and artificial trappings in our homes there’s nothing nicer than having a few fresh flowers in vases around your rooms. And it needn’t be an expensive addition if you show some enthusiasm and grow you own flowers.

Our uplifted spirits are covered with about 14 inches of snow right now lol. I want to get into my own little gazebo garden but the aforementioned weather makes it hard. Guess that explains me being on the 'puter so much.

Flowers remind me of the nostalgic moments of romance. What is romance without flowers ? Flowers lift the drooping spirits and are a great de-stressers. Wow i love flowers, can we turn this globe into a flower kingdom ? Alas, i wish it were possible.

Great insight, great eye opener, mother nature has given us such beautiful flowers, flowers are indeed instant refreshers and what better way than to grow them on your own and watch them bloom, just like our own kids. Beauty at its best is in all the flowers.

I was on a trip up to Northern Canada and witnessed the spring flower explosion that happens practically the day after the snow melts. It’s an image I’ll always treasure. I’ve seen photos and paintings but nothing compares to immersing yourself in the crisp-sweet air of the moment!

My wife had convinced me to start a flower garden along the front steps of our house, I was questioning myself of what it would look like I bought a couple hundred dollars worth of seeds and flowers and a few months later when they all started to bloom it just made the house look 100% better.

What is also nice for example on the terrace of your home is big pots of trees. For example an orange tree or a lemon tree. It brighten up any porch or terrace or even a balcony. It’s amazingly beautiful with the orange and green combined. Also lavender is the most amazingly colour. Also it chases away scorpions so they say.

The fall is a great time to plant flowers before the cold. These seeds will last until the spring and come up with the warmth.
